The Catalyst demos went very well. At Catalyst, I demoed IGF Attribute Service used with JAAS, a JSP, and a mashup of Oracle OVD and the BEA Sonic Records Store Struts Demo (which can be found in the BEA Workspace IDE) and Tomcat. What was nice was that the struts demo really highlighted how much simpler the IGF Attribute Service API is when compared to classic database access methodologies. I did get a request for Spring and Ruby demos, if anyone wants to work on this! I hope to post copies of the demos either to sourceforge, or on Oracle OTN. I've got to work out how to handle the "OVD" portion of the mashup since it is commercial. Of course this will all be easier to deal with once we have a 100% open source implementation we can use to build demos. I'm hoping to get started on Higgins IdAS to fill this function shortly.
