The next call will be March 15. Rich Levinson will be at the XACML Showcase at RSA this week, talking about and demoing OpenAz. If you are at the show, stop by and say hi. Hal From rich.levinson at oracle.com Tue Feb 28 12:16:10 2012 From: rich.levinson at oracle.com (rich levinson) Date: Tue, 28 Feb 2012 12:16:10 -0500 Subject: [OpenAz] At RSA this week - demo'ing/discussing OpenAz: PepApi/AzApi and related topics Message-ID: <4F4D0BDA.8000701@oracle.com> To OpenAz Maillist: This is an FYI that I will be at the RSA Conference this week, at the OASIS booth with Oracle demo'ing interoperability w a 5-company presentation/demonstration of XACML 3.0 interoperability built on a privacy application using custom attributes associated/stored-in documents that users are attempting to access. I was hoping to have a full OpenAz demo of this operational for the show, but unfortunately, it turned out that the demo is contingent on using Polcies w complex Conditions, which were not supported yet by the xacml shorthand representation that we have been using to manage all the test policies. However, the good news is that the complex Conditions are almost complete and ready to be added to OpenAzPolicyReader, which hopefully will be done this week. The challenge on this is that for a "line at a time" language, like xacml shorthand, this introduces a 2nd hierarchy to manage in the parsing structure, and once in place will really firm up this component. If anyone on the list is attending RSA this week, please drop by and say hello. We are located on the far left aisle as you walk in the doors of the main entrance, at booth number 129, I believe. There is also a KMIP demo directly across the aisle from us, which is similar in size and scope w 5 or 6 different companies, some of whom participated in the 2008 XACML RSA Interop as well. So, anyone who would like to meet the experts in KMIP and XACML, booth 129 and the one across the way, both sponsored by OASIS, that's the place to be this week. Thanks, Rich
