My only concern with requiring a DOM-based approach is that it is likely
not very efficient for a mobile phone or other constrained-memory
devices. That's only important, of course, if you'd expect this library
to be usable on a mobile phone or other constrained-memory device ;) I
would guess that this code will be limited also to using J2SE APIs (ie.
not J2ME-capable?)
