Message-ID: Hi All, We are trying to hit alpha by this Friday. So far we have been running the ClientLib code against Conor Cahill's server (thanks Conor!) and today with a lot of help from HP we got Select Federation installed and have extracted (from the debug logs) a disco bootstrap EPR. We are hoping to make SOAP SSO requests directly to the HP SSO, but it might not be possible without signing and federation (according to the engineers that helped us with the install). Does anyone have a IDWSF 2.0 implementation that we can test against? Currently we are: * making a PLAIN SASL request to Conor's AS * following these up with queries to Conor's DS, carrying the SAML2 assertion provided by the AS later, asa -- Asa Hardcastle, Technical Lead, openLiberty ID-WSF ClientLib Tel: +1.413.429.1044 Skype: subsystem7 -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Topics: * Where we are with the code. * How to bootstrap with HP - turns out this is more difficult than expected. It looks like we need to go through the process of federating in order to get the DISCO EPR. This adds a layer of excitement ;) It also appears that we will need to be making a signed SAML 2 SSO request. * People Service questions - if we get to them. Does anyone know of an available implementation containing WSF2 Disco & PS? talk to you then, asa -- Asa Hardcastle, Technical Lead, openLiberty ID-WSF ClientLib Tel: +1.413.429.1044 Skype: subsystem7 -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... We've been having trouble using a disco epr that we have been able to extract. This is a signed message. It appears that it is impossible to turn signatures off easily and extract an epr that contains a simple bearer token. When we use the epr, we get a security fault. At the moment we are not capable of signed requests/ responses, so we are considering using some code I wrote a year or so ago to accomplish a signed SSO (after federating) and extract the epr directly. This is a better option than the hack we were using anyway. I am hoping to find another PS in addition to the HP implementation. talk later, asa -- Asa Hardcastle, Technical Lead, openLiberty ID-WSF ClientLib Tel: +1.413.429.1044 Skype: subsystem7 On Oct 19, 2007, at 12:57 PM, Rouault, Jason (Security Management) wrote: > Your HP implementation includes the PS > > > > From: wsf-dev-bounces at lists.openliberty.org [mailto:wsf-dev- > bounces at lists.openliberty.org] On Behalf Of Asa Hardcastle > Sent: Friday, October 19, 2007 10:26 AM > To: wsf-dev at openliberty.org > Subject: [wsf-dev] update > > > > Hi All, > > > > We wrote some notes up after our last dev call detailing where we > are with the project.
